How Edah AI handles arbitrary CRMs

The Universal CRM Connector is built on the principle that most CRMs are just REST APIs. If your CRM has a REST API and authenticates with any standard method, Edah AI connects to it.

Auth methods supported

Bearer token, API key, Basic auth, HMAC signing, OAuth 2.0 (both client credentials and authorisation code), session cookie. The Connector handles the auth flow and refreshes tokens as needed. The tenant gives credentials once and never thinks about them again.

Schema discovery from documentation

You upload your CRM documentation in any common format: an OpenAPI specification, a Postman collection, Markdown reference, a PDF reference, even a cURL example. The Connector parses the documentation and proposes a mapping between Edah action verbs (create lead, update contact, log activity) and your CRM endpoints.

Testing before going live

Before any real call uses the connector, you can run test calls and see exactly what payload the connector would send to your CRM. You approve the mapping or refine it in the dashboard. Once the connector passes your tests, it goes into production.
